As a player, you must be able to perform many repetitions for a prolonged period. You must complete 100% of your ability throughout the game or practice. Therefore, while you are conditioning, coaches will evaluate your ability to stay at the task.
Basketball players must be able to endure prolonged periods of endurance; therefore, they are required to run a 7-minute mile and complete 20— and 40-yard sprints.
